This policy includes a defined number of revision rounds at no additional charge — so both you and your client know exactly what's covered before the edit even begins. Each round is treated as one consolidated set of feedback on a single draft, keeping the project moving efficiently.
Clients have a set window of calendar days after draft delivery to submit their feedback. Miss the window, and the request is treated as a billable additional revision — no surprises, no ambiguity.
One of the most time-consuming friction points in video production is vague feedback. This policy eliminates it. **All revision requests must include timecoded references** — e.g., *"0:32 – remove the ceiling fan shot"* — submitted through your approved feedback channel (email, Frame.io, shared doc, etc.).
Phone calls, texts, and DMs don't count until confirmed in writing. This clause alone can save hours of back-and-forth on every project.
Reshoots are treated separately from post-production revisions. The policy provides one complimentary reshoot under two narrowly defined scenarios:
All other reshoots are billed at your standard reshoot visit rate, with a defined number of included on-site hours and an hourly overage rate for extended sessions.
Beyond included rounds, extra revision work is billed at your hourly rate, rounded to the nearest half-hour, with a stated minimum charge. Videographer provides a written estimate before starting any billable work — protecting both parties from scope creep.
Unpaid revision invoices give you the right to withhold final deliverables until the balance is settled.
