What is the Video Shot List?

The Video Shot List is a pre-production planning template designed for real estate photographers, cinematic walkthrough videographers, and drone operators. It organizes every scheduled clip into a structured job sheet — covering project information, equipment inventory, a 20-row shot log, voiceover and music planning, logistics, and post-production notes. The 2026 WGAN master template is formatted for U.S. general use and is intended to be run through with a listing agent or property owner before shoot day.

When should you use this form?

The Video Shot List is most useful when preparing for a residential or commercial real estate video shoot that involves multiple rooms, exterior aerials, or social-cut deliverables. Use it when coordinating a crew of more than one person, when a drone operator with a Part 107 certificate is on site, or when the finished deliverables include a hero video alongside short-form social cuts — any scenario where an untracked clip can cause a costly reshoot.

What's included in this template?

  • Project information fields: job ID, property address, shoot date, and crew names
  • Equipment plan checklist covering camera, drone, audio, lighting, and backup media
  • 20-row shot log with columns for location, shot description, lens/framing, duration, and status
  • Voiceover and music plan with options for producer-supplied, AI-generated, or client-provided audio
  • Logistics section for scheduling, access notes, and on-site contacts
  • Post-production notes section for edit timelines and deliverable specifications
  • Producer notes field for crew-specific instructions or client requests
  • Cross-reference fields linking to the Video Production Agreement (WGAN-2026-FORM-VID-001) and Aerial Scope Addendum (WGAN-2026-FORM-AER-003)

How do I fill out this form?

  1. Open the form at forms.wgan.info. Navigate to forms.wgan.info and locate the Video Shot List template under the Video Production or Real Estate Photography category, then click to open the online form.
  2. Enter project and crew information. Fill in the job ID, property address, shoot date, producer name, camera operator, and drone operator's name and FAA Part 107 number if aerial work is planned.
  3. Complete the equipment plan checklist. Check off each equipment item — camera and lenses, drone batteries and ND filters, audio gear, lighting, stabilizers, and backup media — to confirm everything is packed for shoot day.
  4. Build the shot list row by row. For each planned clip, enter the room or location, describe the shot move, specify lens and framing, estimate duration, and set the status indicator across as many of the 20 rows as needed.
  5. Fill in voiceover, music, and logistics fields. Select the voiceover source option, note any licensed music or AI-generated audio, then complete the logistics and post-production sections with access details and edit deadlines.
  6. Download and distribute the completed job sheet. Submit the form to generate the finalized PDF, download it from the confirmation screen, and share copies with the listing agent and every crew member before shoot day.
