What is the Voiceover Narration Agreement?

The Voiceover Narration Agreement is a professional contract between a real estate media producer and voiceover talent that governs a single narration engagement. It defines deliverable specifications (raw and mixed audio formats), included takes, revision rounds, licensing scope limited to one property, reuse fee terms, kill-fee protections, and payment conditions. The template is pre-structured for Matterport showcases, iGUIDE tours, listing videos, and related real estate media contexts.

When should you use this form?

The Voiceover Narration Agreement is appropriate whenever a real estate photographer, 3D tour creator, or listing media producer hires voice talent to narrate a property walkthrough, virtual tour, or listing video. Use it before the recording session begins — particularly when the producer and talent have not worked together before, when multiple revision rounds are anticipated, or when the audio may later be repurposed for brand campaigns or additional listings.

What's included in this template?

  • Acceptance and scope clause identifying Producer and Talent by legal name
  • Script and session details with approved-script submission workflow
  • Deliverable specifications: raw WAV/AIFF and mixed stereo master files
  • Takes-per-segment allowance and per-take overage billing rate
  • Included revision rounds and extra-round fee structure
  • License scope limited to one property address with perpetual non-exclusive terms
  • Reuse and broader license section with minimum reuse fee and Talent's right to decline
  • Kill-fee schedule for pre-recording cancellation and mid-session cancellation

What this form covers

Acceptance and Scope

This agreement is entered into between **[PRODUCER LEGAL NAME]** ("Producer") and **[TALENT LEGAL NAME]** ("Talent") for a voiceover narration project described as **[PROJECT DESCRIPTION]**. It sets out exactly what Talent will record, how many takes are included, when payment is due, and precisely how far the license to use that audio extends.

---

Deliverables

Talent delivers **two asset tiers** for every session:

  • **Raw Audio** — unprocessed WAV/AIFF files at 48 kHz / 24-bit, labeled per script segment, ready for your editor's timeline. - **Mixed Audio** — a noise-reduced, compressed, EQ-balanced stereo master in both WAV and MP3, drop-ready for Matterport showcases, iGUIDE tours, or listing videos.

Files arrive via **[DELIVERY METHOD]** within **[DELIVERY DAYS]** business days of Producer handing over the approved script.

---

Takes and Revision Rounds

The session includes up to **[INCLUDED TAKES] takes** per segment at no extra charge. Additional takes are billed at **[ADDITIONAL TAKE FEE]** each.

Producer receives **[REVISION ROUNDS] included revision round(s)**. A round = one consolidated change list, any number of edits. Extra rounds are billed at **[REVISION FEE]** per round — and script changes made after the approved script was submitted always count as an additional round.

---

License Scope — Engagement vs. Reuse

The base license covers exactly **one property**: [LICENSED PROPERTY ADDRESS]. It's perpetual and non-exclusive, covering listing portals, property websites, 3D tour platforms, and associated social channels.

Need the same voice for a brand campaign, a demo reel, or a different listing? A **separate reuse license** is required, starting at a minimum of **[REUSE FEE]** per additional use context. Talent retains the right to decline any reuse request.

---

Kill Fee Protection

Cancel after receiving the script but before recording starts? A **[KILL FEE]** kill fee is due within 10 business days. Cancel mid-recording? The **full base session fee** is owed immediately — protecting Talent's blocked studio time and Producer's goodwill.
