The Commercial Location Release is a contract template designed for photographers, 3D-tour creators, and reality-capture professionals working inside retail stores, restaurants, offices, and other commercial premises. It documents the business owner of record's authority to grant shoot access, approves the reproduction of visible brand marks and signage, addresses customer and third-party interactions on shoot day, and defines the permitted commercial and portfolio uses for the resulting images and virtual-tour content.
The Commercial Location Release is appropriate whenever a photographer or 3D-tour creator is hired to capture the interior or exterior of an operating business — a restaurant before service hours, a retail showroom for a real estate listing, a corporate office for an investor presentation, or a franchise location for marketing collateral. It is especially important when branded signage, trade dress, or employee and customer interactions will be visible in the final deliverables.
