Person Release

Person Release — WGAN 2026 form template.

Last updated Jul 7, 2026

Disclaimer: This template is for informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review it before use.

What is the Person Release?

The Person Release is a 2026 WGAN master template that documents an identifiable individual's consent for a photographer, videographer, or 3D-tour producer to capture and use that person's name, likeness, image, voice, and biometric or facial information. It covers identification of all parties, a worldwide irrevocable grant of rights, permitted-use checkboxes, client designation, restrictions, consideration, state consumer-privacy acknowledgment, and parental or guardian consent for minors.

When should you use this form?

The Person Release is needed any time an identifiable individual appears in real estate photos, walkthrough videos, Matterport or other 3D-tour captures, or lifestyle shots — including models, property residents, real estate agents on camera, and on-site staff. A separate completed release is required for each individual captured. If the subject is under 18, the parental or guardian consent section must also be filled in before the shoot.

What's included in this template?

  • Releasor and photographer identification fields with shoot reference and capture date
  • Irrevocable worldwide grant of rights covering likeness, voice, and biometric/facial data
  • Permitted-use checkboxes: editorial, commercial advertising, real-estate listing, stock licensing, and portfolio display
  • Client designation section for shoots where the commissioning party differs from the photographer
  • Restrictions section limiting uses not expressly authorized in the grant
  • Consideration clause documenting compensation or other value exchanged
  • CCPA and state consumer-privacy acknowledgment for biometric and facial data
  • Parental or guardian consent block required when the releasor is under 18

How do I fill out this form?

  1. Open the form at forms.wgan.info. Navigate to forms.wgan.info in a browser and locate the Person Release template under the Person Release category in the WGAN Forms Library.
  2. Enter releasor and photographer details. Type the releasor's full legal name, date of birth, and address, then enter the photographer or production business name and the project or job reference ID.
  3. Select permitted uses and add client info. Check every applicable permitted-use box — editorial, commercial, real-estate listing, stock, or portfolio — and complete the client section if a separate commissioning party is involved.
  4. Complete restrictions and consideration fields. Fill in any agreed restrictions on use and record the consideration exchanged, such as a monetary amount, complimentary prints, or a mutual-benefit notation.
  5. Complete parental consent section if applicable. If the releasor is under 18, scroll to Section 8 and enter the parent or guardian's full name, relationship, address, and signature information before proceeding.
  6. Download and distribute the completed release. Review all fields for accuracy, then download the finished PDF from forms.wgan.info. Provide a signed copy to the releasor and retain the original for your project records.
