WHEN TO USE THIS FORM
Run this checklist before every commercial small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) flight under 14 CFR Part 107. Sign and date at the bottom; archive with the flight log (WGAN-2026-FORM-AER-002). Keep the latest 24 months of flight logs available for FAA inspection on request.

☐ Part 107 Remote PIC certificate current (24-month recurrent training within last 24 months — verify on IACRA / FAATC).
☐ Government-issued photo ID on person.
☐ Visual Observer (VO) identified if required for the operation (e.g., BVLOS waiver, sub-pilot operations).
☐ Fit to fly — no fatigue, illness, alcohol/drug impairment, or medication that affects judgment (8 hr “bottle-to-throttle” minimum).
☐ Aircraft registered with the FAA. — Registration card or e-record available; registration # marked on the aircraft.
☐ Remote ID compliant. — Standard Remote ID or Broadcast Module installed and tested. Required for all Part 107 operations (since Sept 16, 2023).
☐ Firmware up to date on aircraft, controller, and any required mobile apps.
☐ Pre-flight visual inspection of airframe, props, motors, gimbal, payload, antennae, and landing gear.
