WHEN TO USE THIS FORM
Complete this checklist and flight log immediately after every commercial Part 107 flight. The flight log section is also the FAA-aligned recordkeeping required for any reportable accident under 14 CFR § 107.9 (within 10 days of any accident causing serious injury, loss of consciousness, or property damage in excess of $500).
☐ Aircraft landed safely; motors stopped and disarmed before approach.
☐ Post-flight visual inspection — props, airframe, gimbal, payload, landing gear.
☐ Battery temperatures within safe range before stowing; batteries discharged to storage level before long-term storage.
☐ SD card removed; footage transferred to backup storage immediately.
☐ Aircraft and accessories stowed in case; case secured for transport.
☐ RAW footage transferred to laptop and a second physical backup (drive / cloud).
☐ File-naming convention applied (e.g., YYYYMMDD-JOBID-AERIAL-NN.MP4).
☐ Hash values logged for any insurance/claims documentation use (see WGAN-2026-FORM-BUS-001).
☐ SD card formatted in aircraft (not OS-level) before next use, only after verified backup.
