What is the Homeowner Property Release?

The Homeowner Property Release is a residential property release agreement between a photographer or 3D tour provider and a verified property owner of record. It grants the photographer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to capture, use, and distribute interior, exterior, aerial, and virtual-tour imagery of the home. The release defines authorized uses, sets restrictions on stock-library resale, and establishes revocation, indemnification, and governing-law provisions.

When should you use this form?

The Homeowner Property Release is appropriate any time a photographer or 3D tour creator is hired to shoot a residential property — whether a primary residence, vacation home, rental, or vacant listing. Use it before capturing Matterport or iGUIDE scans, drone footage, or MLS photography so that the homeowner's explicit consent, authorized uses, and any personal-information protections are documented in writing before the shoot date.

How do I fill out this form?
