Real Estate Media License Agreement

Real Estate Media License Agreement — WGAN 2026 form template.

Last updated Jul 7, 2026

Disclaimer: This template is for informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review it before use.

What is the Real Estate Media License Agreement?

The Real Estate Media License Agreement is a 2026 WGAN master template that grants a named licensee the right to reproduce, display, and distribute real estate photos, 3D digital twins, video, and floor plans originally captured under a prior photography engagement. The template covers U.S. general use and is adaptable to individual state requirements. It defines the permitted use, license term, territory, channels, credit obligations, and fee structure between a photographer and a downstream licensee.

When should you use this form?

The Real Estate Media License Agreement applies after a listing closes and a builder or brokerage wants to retain media for portfolio use, when a new agent or property owner inherits a listing and needs rights to existing photos or 3D tours, when a media outlet seeks editorial use of property imagery, or when a photographer is relicensing image inventory originally captured under a prior Real Estate Photography Contract.

What's included in this template?

  • Grant of license with permitted-use checkboxes (new owner, builder portfolio, brokerage marketing, property management)
  • License term, territory, and approved distribution channels
  • Credit and attribution requirements for the photographer
  • License fee amount, payment schedule, and late-fee provisions
  • Restrictions on sublicensing, transfer, and unauthorized modifications of Licensed Works
  • Warranty, disclaimer, and indemnification clauses
  • Limitation of liability and governing law provisions
  • Schedule D: property identification method and Licensed Works inventory table
