What is the Tour Embed License?

The Tour Embed License is a standalone contract template that grants a client the right to display a virtual tour on one or more specified domains for a defined start-to-end term. It covers the agreed fee, payment due date, late-payment interest, embed-code delivery timeline, and a strict set of restrictions on downloading, redistributing, or sublicensing tour files. Ownership of the underlying tour, panoramic images, and point-cloud data remains with the creator throughout and after the license period.

When should you use this form?

Use the Tour Embed License when a real estate agent, brokerage, developer, or property manager wants to place a Matterport, iGUIDE, or similar virtual tour on their website for a fixed period — such as a six-month listing campaign or an annual property-marketing contract. It is also appropriate when a client wants to embed the same tour across multiple branded domains, or when a photographer charges recurring access fees rather than a one-time delivery fee.

What's included in this template?

  • Acceptance and scope clause identifying both parties and the licensed tour
  • Approved domain list with breach language for unauthorized placements
  • License term with defined start and end dates and post-expiration removal window
  • Fee amount, due date, monthly late-interest rate, and embed-code suspension right
  • Embed-code delivery method and business-day timeline tied to receipt of full payment
  • Embed-only restriction prohibiting download, screen-recording, reverse engineering, and sublicensing
  • Termination, intellectual property retention, and indemnification provisions
  • Governing law, dispute resolution, and electronic-signature counterparts clause

How do I fill out this form?

  1. Open the form at forms.wgan.info. Navigate to forms.wgan.info, locate the Tour Embed License template in the library, and click it to open the guided online form in your browser.
  2. Enter party and tour details. Type the photographer's legal name or business name, the client's name, and a clear identifier for the specific virtual tour being licensed, such as a property address or tour URL.
  3. Define domains, term, and fees. List every approved embed domain, set the license start and end dates, enter the agreed fee amount, the payment due date, and the monthly late-interest rate.
  4. Set delivery and restriction preferences. Specify the embed-code delivery method and the number of business days after full payment in which the code will be provided, confirming the embed-only restriction applies.
  5. Review all filled fields. Scroll through the completed form to verify that domain names, dates, dollar amounts, and party names are accurate before generating the final document.
  6. Download and deliver the document. Click the download button to save the completed Tour Embed License as a PDF or editable file, then send it to the client for review and electronic signature.

What this form covers

What This License Covers

This **Tour Embed License** grants your client the right to display your virtual tour on a precisely defined list of domains — and nothing more. The agreement is designed for real estate photographers, Matterport/iGUIDE operators, and 3D-tour creators who want to monetize recurring embed access without giving up ownership of their deliverables.

Allowed Domains — No Surprises

Section 2 requires you to list every approved domain where the embed code may appear. If the client attempts to place the tour on an unlisted site — a partner portal, a franchise page, a third-party listing aggregator — that's a material breach, not a gray area. You stay in control of where your content lives.

Strict Embed-Only Restriction

Section 6 spells out exactly what the client **cannot** do:

  • Download or locally host tour files, panoramic images, or point-cloud data - Screen-record or reproduce the tour for redistribution - Reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the tour - Remove branding, watermarks, or attribution elements - Transfer or sublicense rights to any third party

This language is crafted to close the loopholes that vague "personal use" clauses leave open.

Fees, Payment, and Leverage

The fee and due date are clearly stated in Section 4. If payment is late, interest accrues at your specified monthly rate — and you have the explicit right to **suspend the embed code** until the balance is cleared. No awkward chasing; the contract does the work.

Embed Code Delivery

Section 5 locks in your delivery method and timeline (in business days after full payment). The client knows exactly when to expect the embed snippet and understands that correct implementation on their platform is their responsibility.

Term and Renewal

The license runs between two calendar dates you specify. When the term ends, the client must remove all embed instances within five business days. Renewal requires a fresh agreement — preventing silent perpetual use of your Tour after the license lapses.
